Q&A Time....

If you read my last post, then you will know that I have now been blogging for 6 months, which to me is a pretty long time. I started this as a hobby and never realized how important my page would become to me. Nevertheless I thought it was about time that you guys got to know a bit more about me. When I check out someones blog, then I like to know what the person behind the blog is like (to me, it gives the page a bit more meaning and depth), so got together some of the best questions I could find to answer here for you...... here we go!

What is your full name?
Nicole Corbett. I don't have a middle name, although I always wanted one (I don't really know why...)

How old are you?
22 (My birthday is 6th July)

Where do you stay?
Just outside Glasgow in Scotland

What is your full time job?
Outwith blogging, I work full time as a business support member for a learning disability centre

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
I hope to work more in the care side of my job and work directly with clients rather than being behind the computer. I also hope that my blog becomes more successful and has gained more followers.

What has been your favourite place you have visited and where is somewhere you would like to go in the future?
I think it needs to be Disneyworld Orlando... I nearly cried when I got back because I just didn't want to leave. On the other side of that, I don't think I could pick a particular place to go in the future, I wish I could travel the world.

Do you have any hobbies outwith blogging?
I have always enjoyed baking, and also enjoy being a nail technician, and would see that as being a hobby too (although it is kind of a part time job)

Pick one other blogger who has helped you with your own blog, and why they helped you?
Their has been so many different bloggers that have helped me, I honestly can't pick. I done a pot on my top picks so give that a read if you want to read my top picks (Bloggers to check out)

Whats your favourite post you have uploaded?
I have a lot of different posts that I love, but one of my favourites has to be 'What I've learned by not going to University'. I got so much good feedback from it and think it helped a lot of people feel better too....

What got you into blogging?
My job can be extremely hectic and stressful, so blogging became a hobby... a way of going into my own little world and I really enjoyed it... the rest is history!

What's your favourite colour?
Ohhhh..... pink!

What's your favorite clothing store?
Has to be 'New Look'... they do such lovely clothing and never lets me down

What's your favorite online fashion store?
I have a few, but have to pick 'Boutique of Molly'. I work with them regularly and have never been let down with the quality of their clothing.

How would you describe your fashion sense?
Smart but casual... and a bit of everything. One day I feel girly, the next I will be rockin' the baggy ripped jeans... whatever I feel like wearing, i'll wear!

How do you relax after a stressful day?
I will literally get changes into my PJ's and put on a good movie.... can't beat it!

Do you have any pets?
Yes, I have a cat called Amber and a dog (West Highland Terrier) called  Midge... I love them both!

Can you drive?
Yes, I have been driving for 3 years and passed both my theory and practical tests on the first attempt (Yess!)

Any fears?
Anything to do with blood or hospitals etc. My mum watches a lot of surgical programmes and they make me feel ill. I am not destined to have anything to do with First Aid!

Any other random facts!?

I used to play both the 'Oboe' and 'Trumpet' in school and although I gave them both up after a few years, I can still to this day read music.
I also love photography and one day would like to get myself a good camera and travel taking pictures of where I go... one day it will happen!!

Have I missed any questions out that you would like an answer to? Leave them in the comments below and I will get back to you!

Also if you have a blog, then let me know what your answers would be? Would love to know!

Remember to follow to the right on the page to keep up to date with the latest!

Until next time, love you all!

  1. These have to be some of my favorite posts to read. It's exciting to learn more about the person behind the blog. I feel it gives it some personality and something that can be relatable to others. I love your answers. Kudos to you for having a full time job and blogging as well as you are! I'm having a tough time with that. I am the same way when it comes to fears! I say I can't even be a patient let alone someone who has to deal with it as their job haha!
Anyways, well done :) Great post x

  2. Hi Jay, sorry for the late reply, was on holiday and had problems with my internet when I was away! Yeah I totally agree I love it when you get to know the person behind the blog. Working and blogging isn't always easy, but it is worth it when you see people enjoying what you post! :)

Thanks again for posting :) x
