Is this Facemask the new Glamglow? ....

So as many of you will know if you have been reading my blog for a while, I love a good face mask. I do suffer break outs quite regularly and always notice a massive difference in my skin when I have used a good mask to cleanse and moisturize my skin. Of all the face masks I have used over the years, my favourite has always been Glamglow. I spoke about this mask in a post a few months ago and mentioned how much I loved it. However this one from The Body Shop is amazing, and giving Glamglow a run for their money....

This is the 'Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask'. I have now been using it for a few weeks and it has quickly became a favourite in my beauty regime. It is amazing for clearing pores, tightening the skin and getting rid of dirt and oils sitting on your face.

This mask is one of several different masks from The Body Shops new range. The new range looks INCREDIBLE and I will definitely be trying out the other masks when I get the chance. This is the only one I have had a chance to try and the similarities between this mask and the Glamglow mask is uncanny....

This contains tea leaves throughout, that feel great on the skin and act as a gentle exfoliate when removing the product, perfect for cleaning the skin and removing any dead skin cells. The Charcoal is great at tightening the skin and removing any excess oil or dirt that is on your face, you can really feel the mask working when it is being used.

I am prone to having bad pores and this often affects my make up when I apply it in the morning. This mask helps tighten any pores to help make up go on smoothly and to give you more flawless skin, perfect if you struggle with problematic skin, like me....

One jar of this will last a long time... I normally use this about 1-2 times a week and find that one jar can last me about 2 months.. so you are getting your moneys worth.

One jar of this costs £15 and a jar of Glamglow retails at about £40-£50... so the difference in price is pretty big. To be honest, both masks are great and if you want to splash out and get the Glamglow mask, then go for it. It's great and cleaning your skin and is guaranteed to leave your skin in healthier condition. However I honestly don't see much difference between the two and from now on, I will for sure be purchasing this 'Himalayan Charcoal' mask. The product gives incredible results for a fraction of the price and is a great addition to any beauty regime.

If you have tried this or any others in the new range let me know what you think in the comments below! Would love to hear what you think

Until next time, take care :)
