A day in Manchester... at Christmas!

So last weekend I spent a few days away with friends in the beautiful city of Manchester visiting the Christmas markets and truly getting into the festive spirit. It might have only been a short break, but I really did love Manchester and had to take some pictures while I was there. It was a lovely day and the market was one of the best I have ever been too, it seemed to go on forever and was full of treats, gifts, food and drinks...

The markets offered lots of unusual buys, and I saw some things for sale I had never seen before, I just had to snap them up while visiting... keep reading to see what I got up too!

The supportive community in Manchester was one of the first things I noticed and it really showed how strong the people of Manchester are, and how positive they can be!

It really was inspiring and made such a great atmosphere as we were walking around the centre of the city....

One of my favourite treats of any Market, the SWEETS!

We stayed at the Bredbury hotel and Country club in Stockport while we were down south. It wasn't the best hotel for us unfortunately. It was very quiet and derelict, with no entertainment or activities at night, which meant we were left with nothing to do in the evenings.

One thing however that the hotel did have was beautiful views, especially with the frost and snow we experienced it was like something from a Christmas card!

I can't wait to travel back to Manchester and hopefully spend a little more time there. Because we travelled with a company, we were very rushed which meant we missed a lot of things out during out travels. However I am sure I will be back in the not to distant future!
