'All That Jazz' - The Caribbean Collection: First Impressions

So as many of you will know, I am a huge fan of getting my nails done, so much so I decided to get myself trained in Gel Nails so I could treat myself whenever I liked. I have been doing Gels now for many years and the thought of going back to non gel nail lacquers or polishes is something I don't tend to think about now. Nevertheless, it has been years since I have gave them a go and I am sure that like many things they have improved over time and are much more long lasting and chip resistant than what I remember...

Therefore when I was given the chance to try out the new 'Caribbean Collection' from 'All That Jazz', then I couldn't help but say yes!

So firstly, the colours in the collection are stunning and perfect for the summer, whether you are going on holiday and relaxing by the pool, or staying at home and just want a pop of colour, the shades really are stunning and super pigmented, so they will look as vibrant on your nails as they do in the bottles.

I really do love all the shades but if I had to pick a favourite, then it would have to be this vibrant purple shade, called 'Caribbean Queen'. It is so bright and fun, perfect for pairing with all those summer outfits in this heatwave. It looks amazing on and takes very little time to dry, I found it started to set onto the nail bed within seconds, perfect for people with a busy lifestyle!

The collection comes with 2 pink shades in it, this being the brightest of the two. This is in the shade 'Jamaican Me Crazy' and is super bright and fun as well as being super pigmented too. I actually paired this one with a little glitter and it was beautiful, the perfect summer combo!

The second pink shade is this slightly less vibrant however more metallic colour, perfect if you are wanting a nice pink shade on your nails but don't want anything too in your face. The shade is called 'Don't Be a Jerk-y' and would be great for a more everyday look if you wanted something a little more subtle.

The last of the 4 shades in this collection is 'Patty Cake', this beautiful bright blue colour, which would be ideal for someone wanting something a little different and 'out there'! It is probably the one out of the collection I would wear the least as I am not really a blue nail sort of gal, however if you are lucky enough to suit these sort of shades, then this would be perfect for you... also I am super jealous of you!

This really is a beautiful collection and the products themselves are perfect. I really am surprised with how much I like them as I was really unsure beforehand, nevertheless I would definitely wear these in between doing gels on my nails as a way of giving my nails a break. The shades are right up my street too, I definitely prefer some colour on my nails and don't suit anything too pale or pastel as it just washes me out, something I am pretty sure I won't have an issue with here....

So overall, what do I think? I am seriously satisfied with these and think they are gorgeous for the great summer weather we have been having. They last a reasonable time without chipping or smearing, and apply nicely, not too messy or thick. I really do think I will get some good wear out of these and can't wait to rock my colourful Caribbean Style nails!
