About me

My name is Nicole, and I am a 26 year old that comes from just outside Glasgow in Scotland!

I grew up in Renfrew and moved to Kilpatrick in 2018, although I enjoy travelling around the place and I enjoy going on holidays with friends and family as often as possible! After I left school at the age of 16, I didn’t stereo typically go to college or university! I had no idea what I wanted to do, I had to many ideas that I couldn’t decide. I tried working in a nursery and a lab before joining the council to do business and clerical work. After a few years of being a clerical worker I started applying for jobs to work with Adults with Learning Disabilities, something I had decided I had a passion for. Finally in 2017, I started doing just that after being successful in a job interview a few months prior!
I also have a passion for beauty, travel and lifestyle... things which I feel are important to a healthy lifestyle! I decided to share my passion by starting a blog over at Livelaughlove. This is where I shared my love of nails and design and shared my journey into becoming a qualified nail technician. After a year I felt as if it was restricting me and I could talk about so much more, my passions and interests. That is how this blog got started.....

This blog has now been going on for over 4 years, and throughout my time I have covered everything on my blog from beauty, lifestyle, travel and also discussed some more serious issues such as body confidence and stress management in the hope of helping others who are needing some advice!

In 2019 I was diagnosed with Vestibular Migraines, something that had affected me for many months and had caused me to go off sick from my job. After being diagnosed I had to sadly leave my job and return to the clerical side of things to reduce my symptoms, however it has made me want to help other sufferers and it has gave me another passion to discuss. I have done several posts all about my experience and how I cope, in the hope it will help others. I returned to work in September 2019 and decided for the sake of my health to reduce my hours and turn part time in February 2020, after another diagnosis of Fibromyalgia! Not only will this help with my fatigue etc, but I can also focus a little more on the blog and hopefully get some more exciting content created!

I am always open to ideas and would love for you to get in touch (all details can be found by clicking on the 'Contact me' tab) if you have any suggestions or ideas <3

I hope that you all love this blog as much as I do.
